At the ripe old age of 16, Jim began his radio journey in Macon, GA and continued during his college years at Mercer University. He’s logged airtime at some of the most successful stations in Middle Georgia including WDEN, WMAZ, and WAYS including a highly successful sports talk show called the “Locker Room.” Jim later became General Sales Manager at United States Broadcasting and was featured in live radio shows from three World Series, the 2000 All Star Game, and many major college football and basketball games. From music formats to NewsTalk to sports, Jim has enjoyed them all. A few years back, he was a Gabby Award winner from the Georgia Association of Broadcasters for the best morning show.
Jim enjoys all types of music as well as following the Braves, Falcons, and Georgia Tech,” Jim says. “I especially love TV comedies like “Two and a Half Men” and classics like “Everybody Loves Raymond,” “Fresh Prince,” and the “George Lopez Show.” Jim and his wife Carol have two daughters Jessica and Mallory and enjoy living in Rome.
