Jim is one of the longest tenured morning broadcasters in Northwest Georgia and he enjoys every minute of it. He’s logged airtime at some of the most successful stations in Middle Georgia including WDEN, WMAZ, and WAYS including a highly successful sports talk show called the “Locker Room.” Jim later became General Sales Manager at United States Broadcasting and was featured in live radio shows from three World Series, the 2000 All Star Game, and many major college football and basketball games. From music formats to NewsTalk to sports, Jim has experienced them all. A few years back, he was a Gabby Award winner from the Georgia Association of Broadcasters for the best morning show.
Jim enjoys all types of music as well as following the Braves and Georgia Tech. "It's all about the listener," Jim says. “Getting our listeners involved and giving them a fun morning show is what it's all about." His hobbies include attending sporting events, hanging with family, and playing video games with his son-in-law Andrew. Jim and his wife Carol have two daughters Jessica and Mallory and a grandson Hudson.
